Pineberries: Albino Strawberries That Taste Like Pineapples

Do pineberries have feelings too? For those unfamiliar with the seemingly “albino version of a strawberry,” these pineberries are grown in glasshouses, start off green and then gradually turn paler as they ripen. It has been noted that pineberries’ flesh, when ripe and ready to eat, is totally white, studded with red seeds and smells and tastes more like a pineapple than a normal strawberry. Originally discovered in South America, these particular strawberries are smaller than most commercially grown strawberries, averaging out at less than inch in length.

Let us know what stores you guys see these things at, if you like their taste, their feel, etc. (Via 83Seconds)
