A Pepsi Infused Pizza is Coming to LA Today

Yes, you read that correctly! The collab that no one knew they needed is coming to Los Angeles today and will be available for today only. Pepsi has released a rare modification to the classic pepperoni pizza — the Pepsi-Roni Pizza.

Pepsi has teamed up with the Culinary Institute Of America (CIA) to reinvent America’s favored pizza topping. In a recent study, 90% of folks are in agreement that Pepsi is a perfect partner to pizza. So why not combine the two to make a Pepsi infused pepperoni?

Since the beverage is already famous for enhancing the taste of pizza, the brand brought on board the CIA culinary experts to reinvent and create a new type of pepperoni married with rich caramel notes and brown spices of the signature cola.

The recipe combines a Pepsi Zero Sugar reduction instead of water normally used in pepperoni preparation. The reduction introduces a sweet and citrusy zest that Pepsi is widely known for with the classic spice blends found in pepperoni.
