Patrón Tequila Unveils its First High-End ‘Prestige’ Variety, ‘Patrón El Alto’

Patrón Tequila has long earned its reputation for providing super-premium tequila. However, its latest expression is taking the high quality up another level as the brand takes its first step into the prestige category.

Introducing Patrón El Alto, a new handcrafted variety made from the finest 100% Weber Blue Agave grown in the highest parts of Jalisco, Mexico. There, the area yields the sweetest agaves that lends to an incredibly smooth finish.

Patrón El Alto is mostly crafted with Extra Añejo and blended with Añejo and Reposado tequilas, with each aged to their maximum potential. Consumers can expect a smooth and sweet tequila that has notes of figs, honey, caramel, dried fruit and vanilla. Tequila connoisseurs have much to be hyped about, as Patrón’s rep already precedes itself as a top choice.

The new Patrón El Alto is now available in the select U.S. markets of New York, Miami, Las Vegas and Los Angeles for a suggested retail price of $179.
