‘Pancakes, Butter & Syrup Quilt’ with Bacon Rug

Here’s a new twist on ‘breakfast in bed,’  in the form of a beautifully done Pancakes, Butter & Syrup Quilt done by UK-based Ros Cross. Cross mentions that the pancakes quilt was his response to the onslaught of American food (huge proportions), and the 106 x 96″ piece was included in the part of a major museum exhibition of non-traditional quilts, “The New American Quilt,” presented in 1976 vt what is now the Museum of Arts and Design in New York.

The quilt is made to fit over a standard full size bed, and the one-off piece is now sold, along with the 65″ x 15″ bacon rug.
