Oven-Ready Cupcake Batter

BATTER UP, LLC has released its brand new line of oven ready frozen cake batters. The new “Ready. Set. Cupcake!” items consist of all natural ingredients that are mess free. The batters contain no trans-fats or hydrogenated oils and are available in chocolate and vanilla flavors. As of now, they are available for purchase in the frozen foods section at select Florida markets.

The creative minds behind Ready. Set. Cupcake! Co-Founders Carolyn Shulevitz and Leslie Kapla recently spoke about their product and the gourmet cupcake movement:

Cupcakes have been a popular dessert for decades and now specialty gourmet cupcakes are the hot trend. In 52 weeks ending March 2010, cupcake sales amazingly increased 11.5 percent. Ready. Set. Cupcake! is filling a niche for a new generation of fun and baking, providing a delicious and healthier solution to satisfy one’s cupcake craving. In the United States, cupcakes rank in the top ten of favorite desserts and now everyone can easily bake fresh cupcakes in their own oven without taking the time to measure, mix and clean-up!

Florida residents will definitely get the advantage when it comes to mess-free baking. At least until this product reaches the rest of the nation.
