Three Ways To Transform Cauliflower Sandwich Thins Into Mouthwatering Pancake Stacks

With low carb diets on trend right now, folks are looking for new ways to enjoy some of their favorite carb-packed meals. When it comes to pancakes, there’s plenty of options that keep your diet intact but still let you satisfy that craving.

Each of these low-carb pancake recipes, for example, is made with Outer Aisle Gourmet Sandwich Thins. Made from Parmesan, egg, and cauliflower, they can play into both sweet and savory pancake stacks while keeping the carbs down.

These are a few different ways you can transform the sandwich thins into fun, flavorsome pancake breakfasts.

Churro Pancakes

These pancakes evoke the flavors of churros with their mix of cinnamon and sugar coating each sandwich thin. They’re layered with Nutella and dulce de leche for an added hit of sweetness and flavor.

Ingredients

4 Outer Aisle Gourmet Cauliflower Sandwich Thins

1 tbsp butter

1/4 cup cinnamon

1/4 cup coconut sugar

1/2 cup Dulce de Leche

1/2 cup Nutella

Whipped Cream

Directions

Step 1

On a plate, mix cinnamon and sugar.

Step 2

In a medium frying pan, melt butter over medium heat. Place Cauliflower Sandwich Thin in pan and cook until toasty, about 30 seconds. Do the same with the other side. Continue until all Sandwich Thins are toasted.

Step 3

Place each butter-toasted, Sandwich Thin in cinnamon sugar mixture, coating both sides.

Step 4

Place one pancake on a plate. Spread the top with Nutella. Place another Sandwich Thin on top. Spread the top with dulce de leche. Repeat this for as many cakes as you’d like.

Step 5

Place a dollop of whipped cream on top pancake. Serve!

PB, Bacon, & Banana

Elvis Presley’s iconic sandwich combination is the inspiration for this tower of sandwich thin pancakes. This sweet, savory, and salty combo will hit your mouth with an orchestra of different sensations. While The King always enjoyed it as a sandwich, it’s just as good in pancake form.
