Church’s Chicken Releasing Oreo and Biscuit Hybrid, Comes up with Sensible Name

It’s getting harder and harder to keep track of all these pastry hybrids. Between croissant donuts, biscuit donuts and countless other attempts, we’re wondering if the creative minds will ever run out of ideas. Church’s Chicken has announced they’ll soon be adding their own spin on sweet and savory baked goods in the form of Oreo Biscuit Bites.

They get points for not coining a cheesy nickname. Though, we’re guessing calling them Boreos probably wouldn’t sell as well.

Made with Church’s honey-butter biscuits, the biscuit dough is combined with full-on chunks of Oreo cookies. They’re then baked until golden and topped with a sweet vanilla icing glaze.

The Oreo Biscuit Bites will be available Monday, Dec. 1. Customers can purchase them in packs of five for 99 cents or in a 20-pack for $2.99.
