OREO Unveils Its First-Ever Sour Patch Kids Cookie Flavor

OREO and Sour Patch Kids are giving us a mash up we didn’t know we needed by unveiling a new Sour Patch Kids flavor of OREO cookies. We do wonder if it’s first sour and then sweet? Or is it sweet and then sour? Does the filling have a balance between sweet and sour?

OREO describes the limited time flavor as, “a resemblance of an OREO Golden Cookie but instead are now Sour Patch Kids flavored with colorful inclusions.” The creme filling includes even more multi-colored sour sugar pieces, creating a sweet yet sour taste, inspired by the one and only Sour Patch Kids.

If you’re ready to do a taste test on your own, you’ll have to do a little waiting. The first-ever OREO Sour Patch cookie is only available for a limited time but you can get your hands on one of these packs through a pre-sale starting at OREO.com/sourpatchkids.

If you’d rather just wait for it in stores, you can do that, too. The OREO Sour Patch Kids cookies will hit shelves nationwide starting May 6 for a limited time. 

And of course new flavors are now always celebrated with something bigger. OREO and Sour Patch Kids are also releasing a merch line to honor the collaboration including a matching crewneck and pair of joggers that together, make the perfect “snack suit”. The line also includes a bucket hat, socks, hair clips and a belt bag.
