Nutella Loukoumades

GFT, or for non food-elitists, Gourmet Food Trucks, have been catching on to the food trends that have been sweeping the Internet foodie communities for the past couple months. In the case of Southern California based truck Louks, they’ve combined the luscious appeal of Nutella with the stereotypically Greek loukamades dessert.

Interested? Loukoumades, or louks for short, are a type of fried-dough pastry made of deep fried dough that is soaked in sugar syrup or honey and cinnamon, and often times sprinkled with sesame, graham crackers or crumbled nuts. In the case of these Nutella Louks, they’re topped with some serious dollops of Nutella chocolate. Chase the truck on Twitter if you want to get a taste of this deliciousness!
