New Cannoli World Champion Crowned

Now this is a true Foodbeast!

Chicagoan chef and competitive eater Patrick Bertoletti demolished competitors at New York’s San Gennaro Festival in Little Italy last Thursday by wolfing down a record 32 cannolis in six minutes.

Bertoletti faced off against seven other worthy contenders that day but it was Bertoletti who came out on top, eating right past the previous record of 26. So what did it take for this eating machine to reign supreme? A Dillinger Four song blasting through his earphones and a huge hankering for some Italian sweets. Bertoletti was awarded a trophy as well as a Pavoratti box set for his illustrious victory.

And what does a true Foodbeast do after he eats his way to a record-setting victory? He goes around to his favorite pizza place to fill himself up properly! Because that’s how a Foodbeast does it.
