New at McDonald’s — McCafe Peppermint Hot Chocolate & Mocha

Warm yourself up this holiday season with McDonald’s new limited-time only McCafe flavors, the Peppermint Hot Chocolate and Peppermint Mocha. The Hot Chocolate features rich chocolate syrup and peppermint flavor, steamed whole or nonfat milk and is topped off with whipped cream and a chocolate drizzle. Its Mocha counterpart will feature espresso made with 100% Arabica beans, that’s also mixed with your choice of steamed whole or nonfat milk, chocolate syrup and peppermint flavor, and shares the same toppings as the Peppermint Hot Chocolate.

If you’re lucky enough, McDonald’s is actually visiting select locations across the country to celebrate the drinks by giving out samples. Along with the samples, guests who sample the new beverages will be awarded with a McCafe Coffee Break during the holiday season, which allows them to buy one McCafe drink and get one for free. Today marks the first day of the tour, and will run until November 25. If you’re in any of these cities, be sure to check it out!

  • San Francisco, CA (November 7)
  • Denver, CO (November 11)
  • Atlanta, GA (November 17)
  • Chicago, IL (November 19)
  • Boston, MA (November 23)
  • Washington D.C. (November 25)

The Peppermint  Hot Chocolate and Peppermint Mocha  are available through January 2nd, and will be available in small (12 oz.), medium (16 oz.) and large (20 oz.) sizes.
