Diaz And McGregor Engage In Water Bottle Fight During UFC Press Conference

It’s now well-known that UFC fighters Nate Diaz and Conor McGregor are not the best of friends. Things became even more apparent Wednesday, at the UFC 202 press conference, when Nate Diaz and camp, began taunting McGregor. Imagine that.

At one point, as McGregor was on the microphone, the camera shows Nate Diaz shouting expletives at McGregor from a distance, quickly escalating the heated confrontation. UFC on Fox captured the whole incident and uploaded it to YouTube.

The video clearly shows Diaz instigate the whole thing, as he was the first to throw a bottle at McGregor. As a result, McGregor lost his cool and retaliated in the most childish way possible, which is strange because he is usually calm and collected.

Despite a firm verbal warning from UFC President Dana White, McGregor grabbed all surrounding water bottles — including a Monster Energy can — and HURLED them in the direction of Camp Diaz.

It appears no one was injured, except McGregor’s ego.

Dana White quickly called off the press conference, after things cooled down.

UFC 202 is set for August 20, however there is no word if water bottles will be allowed in the Octagon.
