Pizza Delivery Guy Once Received Kitten As A Tip, Still Has It 17 Years Later

Delivering pizza isn’t the easiest job, as there’s potential danger on every corner, and the job gets even worse if you don’t get the customary tip.

Reddit user Hyemp posted about his pizza delivery days 17 years ago and talked about a particular delivery where he had to go through that awkward moment when he’s expecting a tip that’s obviously not coming.

While the Papa John’s delivery guy didn’t get anything monetarily, the customer — who only had exact change — handed him a freakin’ kitty instead.

Hyemp admitted that he was a bit, well, intoxicated, and gladly took “Mr. Tips.” From there he delivered the rest of his pizza and kept the feline for the next 17 years.

While it was definitely a strange exchange, you can’t really be too mad at the lack of tip. It looks like the delivery guy made a long-term friend and had no regrets.
