Mom Goes Ape Sh*t On Daughter For Eating The Cat’s Vanilla Ice Cream
It’s been well-documented that people can often go overboard when caring for their pets. It goes without saying that giving a family pet some ‘people’ food — on occasion — is a welcomed tradition in many circles, however, nothing prepared the Internet for the nightly snack a 17-year-old cat named, “Coco” had received regularly, for the past year.
It started after Jenny Katz, 20, used her Twitter account @JennMeowMeow, to post a screenshot of texts between her and her mother. In the texts, Jenny’s mother asked who had eaten all their Dryer’s French Vanilla Ice Cream.
Jenny confessed to the deed, but was quickly reminded that the vanilla ice cream was reserved for Coco, the family’s 17-year old cat.
Needless to say, Jenny didn’t think it was necessary for the family to designate ice cream for Coco, because, well, she’s “literally a feline.”
“She doesn’t need fuckin ice cream dude.” — Jenny Katz (@JennMeowMeow)
However, Jenny’s mother, Debbie Izenman, 60, wasn’t joking about Coco’s affinity for Dryer’s French Vanilla. Debbie then clapped back with a photo of Coco, with the caption, “Where’s my French vanilla?”
Coco looked pissed! After Jenny posted it to her Twitter page, publications like Mashable, the Daily Mail UK and BuzzFeed began recirculating the tweets, while hilariously rehashing the conversations between Jenny and her mom. The original tweet of the texts between her and her mom has now been retweeted at least 17K times.
It doesn’t end there. In the aftermath of Jenny becoming Twitter-famous, she hooked up her furry friend with a small helping of, you guessed it, Dryer’s French Vanilla ice cream.

Everything seemed right in the world once again.
