Mini Roller Coasters Replace Waiters at New Abu Dhabi Restaurant

Abu Dhabi continues to turn into a real-life Pleasure Island. The country’s new Yas Mall just opened a restaurant that boasts a roller coaster food delivery system.

ROGO’s, the audacious restaurant in question, uses 14,000 square feet to house 30 small roller coasters that do everything from looping to braving whatever a “tornado track” is. The roller coasters silently deliver the menu, then the food, regardless of its state of matter, to each table. For even less interaction with humans, customers can order at the table using tablets.

Each dish is served and transported in an individual pot, allowing it to arrive in front of customers in an assumably edible condition. The restaurant’s culinary palette spans the globe, but most impressively offers a DIY Tornado burger with a choice of 13 toppings.

Plans are set for franchising ROGO’s throughout the United Arab Emirates, but it may be a while before you can have a roller coaster lose your lunch for you here in the US.
