Milky Way-Flavored Milk Makes Its Way To The UK

Growing up, there was always a debate over which candy bar was better: Snickers or Milky Way. I was team Milky Way. Nougat, caramel, and milk chocolate were a superior combo to me, though no one agreed. I’m still on team Milky Way today, and fortunately for me and others who love the iconic chocolate bar, Mars is turning it into a canned beverage.

Milky Way Milk is a new flavored milk drink that comes in a 250ml can. It’s the latest confectionery beverage from Mars, following the success of the Mars and Galaxy bar flavors.

“The can format allows us to offer a more sustainable choice that’s easier for consumers to recycle. In addition to its sustainable properties, the range of cans are also suitable for vegetarians, have no added sugar and are non-HFSS (high in fat, salt or sugar),” said Michelle Frost, general manager at MCD&T.

Unfortunately, I’ll have to devise another way to experience Milky Way in a can. It’s only available at UK retailers and convenience stores at the moment, in cases of 12 x 250 milliliters. Fingers crossed it makes it over the pond sooner rather than later.
