Metallica’s Guitarist Launches His Own Coffee, Here’s How To Get It

Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett has launched his own blend of coffee, and it’s ready to keep you awake All Nightmare Long.

Hammett’s guitar pedal company, KHDK, teamed up with Chicago-based Dark Matter Coffee to launch Ghoul Screamer, a limited-time exclusive brew. The coffee consists of a mixture of Bourbon and Pacas coffee beans from El Salvador. Combined, they create a strong beverage that “only warriors of the sacred caffeine-to-blood ratio” can handle, according to Dark Matter’s website.

Kirk Hammett actually played a role in choosing the cultivars of coffee that went into his blend. One of the beans apparently were so good that he said it was “better than Haagen-Daaz’s coffee ice cream,” an indicator of how smooth the drink truly is.

If you’re interested in trying Hammett’s coffee out for yourself, then head on over to Dark Matter’s website to order yourself some. A package of 12 ounces of the beans costs about $18, and can ship across the entire nation.

Drinking Ghoul Screamer while listening to “Enter Sandman” would be a pretty epic wake up routine, that’s for sure.
