Mechanically Separated Pink Chicken Goo

Pink velvet ice cream? Or perhaps even strawberry whip cream? If you thought this blob of pink goo was soft serve, you were way off! This is mechanically separated chicken! If you have a weak stomach, don’t read this next sentence and skip down a line or two! The process is as follows, after pureeing, the mixture is crawling with bacteria. It will be cleaned by being washed and soaked with ammonia. Because the taste and color isn’t up to par, they will artificially re-flavor the chicken and dye it a more appealing color! Chickens are turned into this to create delicious chicken nuggets and juicy chicken patties. It is streamlined to make it more efficient but it is borderline gross! I don’t think it is going to stop me from eating it though, what about you? (Thx EOON)
