Large and Medium-Size French Fries Back at McDonald’s Japan

Back in mid-December of 2021, McDonald’s in Japan had announced the somber news of suspending medium and large-size French fry orders for the time being due to a shortage of potatoes. The news shocked many Japanese fans of the Golden Arches’ iconic French fries, leaving all to be left with only a small-size defaulting as the standard.

Now, those same forlorn fry fans can now flip their frowns as McDonald’s Japan has announced that medium and large-size French fries will be making a come back starting next week, February 7.

The return to French fry norm is credited to new shipping routes for the North American-grown potatoes used by McDonald’s Japan. Surely this news will be something many Japanese fans look forward to come next Monday.
