McDonald’s Iconic Halloween Pails are Coming Back

There was a time when trick or treating didn’t feel right unless one of McDonald’s iconic Halloween Pails were being used to collect candy. But that feeling hasn’t been around since 2016, the last time that the Golden Arches has made them available.

Thankfully, Ronald and Co. are making things right again this spooky szn. Announced today, McDonald’s will be serving Happy Meals in Halloween Pails beginning October 18. First launched in the 1980s, the Halloween Pails were a staple for trick or treaters everywhere.

The pails will feature the original designs: McBoo, McPunk’n and McGoblin. All the pails are made of plastic and are recyclable, which supports McDonald’s initiative to make sustainable Happy Meal toys out of renewable or recycled materials.

Make sure to act quickly once they drop on October 18, as the Halloween Pails are only around for a limited time before fading back to black.
