McDonald’s France Has Cheeky Response To Steph Curry Cooking The French Men’s Basketball Team

Golden State Warriors point guard Steph Curry has long solidified his status as the greatest shooter the NBA has ever seen. When it came time to take aim at the gold medal against France in the men’s basketball final at the 2024 Olympics, Curry’s legendary accuracy was nothing short of lethal. Dropping 24 points, he sealed the deal and secured the gold for Team USA, adding yet another chapter to his already iconic legacy.

McDonald’s France wasn’t too please with this outcome, activating their petty and posted on Instagram: “For obvious reasons we are considering removing this sauce” as a caption to a picture of the brand’s Classic Curry Sauce, adding “for 4 years minimum.”

This might be a joke, but if it’s not, it’s a pretty awkward farewell for a fan-favorite condiment. Maybe it’s time for the brand to let bygones be bygones and tuck their pettiness in for the night, the same way Curry said “night night” to the French Men’s basketball team.
