Why McDonald’s Built A Drive-Thru Exclusively For Cyclists To Bike Through

As part of McDonald’s #ImLovinIt24 campaign, 24 cities around the world have been doing random McDonald’s things, like creating clothing lines and hosting pajama parties.

One of the cooler activities for this thing came from Copenhagen, Denmark, where they put up a McBike-Thru as customers where able to roll in on their bicycles and get McDonald’s without fear of getting rammed by an Ford Mustang. They even packed the food and drinks in bike-friendly boxes that hanged from the bike’s handle bars for convenience.

Sure it sounds kind of counter-productive since a lot of bikers are usually health-conscious and McDonald’s, well, isn’t.

Either way, it’s a pretty cool concept. At least it’s better than the Big Mac selfie in Dubai.
