McDonald’s Is Testing A Loaded Bacon & Cheese Basket Of Fries

McDonald’s seems to be taking a page out of the Wendy’s book of bacon cheese fries by testing their own variation at a few locations.

The golden arches has introduced their new basket of Loaded Bacon & Cheese Fries, Brand Eating reports.

Atop McDonald’s salty signature French fries is a cheddar cheese sauce and applewood-smoked bacon crumbles. The test item is pretty similar to Wendy’s famous Baconator fries, except these are specifically designed for two customers.

It seems you can only get these fries at a few locations for now but, if successful, may potentially see a wider release sometime in the near future. Test spots include the Greater Pittsburgh area, Central West Virginia, Southeast Ohio, and Eastern Kentucky.

If you do happen to track them down, however, you and a pal can share a basket for $3.99.
