Man dials 911 After Being Refused Tacos at Drive Thru

Taco Bell Man Dials 911

A man from Largo (where?!) was arrested on Wednesday for calling 911 after being refused service at a Taco Bell drive thru.

Terry Kimbell, 50, was intoxicated when he went through the drive thru of a Taco Bell. The only problem was, he wasn’t in a vehicle. Kimbell, who did not want to receive a DUI, walked up to the drive thru to order his food. He was then refused service for not being in a vehicle. Taco Bell has a policy that states that no one could be served food at the drive thru, unless they are in a car.

Kimbell then proceeded to call 911. Kimbell told the dispatcher that he was aware of the car rule as the store manager had explained to him, but he did not want to risk getting a DUI for getting into his car. An officer was sent to the location and Kimbell was arrested for misuse dialing 911 facing a misdemeanor charge.
