Watch This Dude Chug A Coke And Shatter The Loudest Burp Record

Between walnuts being smashed with nunchucks and lit candles being shoved in a human mouth, it’s safe to say that people try the strangest things to get their names in Guinness’ World Records.

Enter Nev Sharp of Australia, who recorded himself popping off the loudest burp in the world last week, according to NT News.

Paul Hunn from the UK holds the current burp record at 109.9 decibels, as you can see his erratic belch below:

S0 Sharp chugged a 20-ounce bottle of Coke and just let it fly. His first attempt fell flat, as he recorded a measly 97.8 decibels, but his second try was the money maker. As sharp tried again, his second burp was recorded at 110.6, unofficially topping Hunn’s 109.9 current record.

At over 110 decibels, you could have a motorcycle engine or chainsaw blaring, and this burp would still tower over it.

Of course, the burp still has to be officially acknowledged by Guinness World Records, but if they come through, you’ll be looking at a new champ.
