Lodge: Pre-Seasoned Cast Iron Skillets

Arguably one of the most important items in any kitchen, the cast iron skillet is a must-have…but for avid users, you know the best flavor comes after a few months, even a few years of continuous use. Lodge has created a Pre-Seasoned Cast Iron Skillet (ranging from $10-$40) that ships pre-seasoned. The Lodge Manufacturing team created this skillet utilizing a system they came up with in 2002, using a proprietary vegetable oil spray system coupled with high temperature gas ovens to season the cookware before it leaves their South Pittsburgh foundry.
