Krispy Kreme Releasing South Korea-Exclusive Pokémon Doughnuts

Word has it that Krispy Kreme is dropping a Pokémon collaboration soon. Popular Pokémon news account pokejungle shared an image of the upcoming doughnuts, which include six iconic characters, including the lovable Pikachu and the cuddly Jigglypuff.

Unfortunately, Americans will not be able to catch all of these doughnuts, because Krispy Kreme will be offering them only in South Korea. Fan reactions are already coming in, and range from anxious excitement to disappointment. Many question why other countries always get better stuff than the U.S. Others have already begun packing their luggage for a trip east.

No official release date has been announced yet, but Instagram account aplasticplant shared some more images from the collaboration, along with one that includes pricing. It appears you’ll have the option of a 6 or 12-count box, with half of the dozen being original glazed doughnuts.
