Krispy Kreme Pumpkin Spice Cake Donut

My high school history professor, Mr. Madrid, was a fantastic storyteller. He would go off on tales about scaling Egyptian pyramids, getting threatened by a homeless man with an HIV virus laced needle and a mysterious pink elephant. One of his favorites stories revolved about being taught the secret recipe of an irresistible pumpkin donut. So when we got an email from Krispy Kreme about the debut of their fall treat, I couldn’t help but be intrigued.

The newest donut sensation from Krispy Kreme is the Pumpkin Spice Cake, an “old-fashioned cake doughnut flavored with pumpkin and spices. Pumpkin is the hot flavor every Halloween season and lots of companies are debuting foods inspired by this familiar fall flavor. Available at participating Krispy Kremes through November 30.
