Kotex Debuts ‘Let’s Have Period Sex’ Chocolates For Valentine’s Day

“Roses are red, periods are too. But don’t let that stop you, from having sex with your boo.” Valentine’s Day is only one day of the year, which means ladies, you may or may not have your period. In fact, nearly 40% of women say having their period would prevent them from having sex on Valentine’s Day despite 47% saying their period increases their sex drive.

U By Kotex is putting an end to the period stigma once and for all. To normalize conversations around periods this Valentine’s Day, Kotex is launching “Let’s Have Period Sex” Chocolates.

Kotex, in partnership with Phasey, a functional food brand for better periods, created a heart-shaped box of chocolate featuring chocolate truffles with ingredients that support libido, boost energy, provide stress relief, and help to alleviate cramps and satisfy cravings. Of course if you get the box of chocolate, you’ll also be gifted with Kotex Balance Pads.

Available now, while supplies last, “Let’s Have Period Sex” Chocolates can be bought at letshaveperiodsex.com for $35 a box. Other data from Kotex notes that this Valentine’s Day, 54% of women are open to having period sex, so don’t cross it off the list entirely.
