KFC Wants To Save Us From Mediocre Nuggets, Rolls Out ‘Kentucky Fried Chicken Nuggets’ Nationwide
First it was the chicken sandwich wars with Popeyes, and now it looks like 2023 has officially entered the chicken nugget wars. Watch out Chick-fil-A because KFC is introducing their chicken nuggets nationwide starting March 27.
According to KFC, “you’ve never had chicken nuggets like these before.” KFC thinks Americans have been living in a ‘nugget blandemic’ and settling for the same mediocre nuggets for far too long.
Now, the fried chicken chain is empowering America to break up with bland and open their hearts and mouths to Kentucky Fried Chicken Nuggets.
Truthfully someone has to say it so here it goes, is KFC the new Wendy’s? I mean this commentary feels like it’s walking on Wendy’s territory.
Made with 100% white meat and hand-breaded with KFC’s signature 11 Herbs and Spices, KFC Nuggets will be available as 5-, 8-, 12- and 36-piece at restaurants starting at $3.49.
While to some KFC loyalists this may not seem innovative enough, this new menu item is replacing the iconic popcorn chicken. Whether that was your got to or not, these chicken nuggets will be a hot commodity on Monday.
The chain is also bringing back the KFC Mac & Cheese Bowl for a limited time. The $5 bowl includes the new KFC Nuggets, creamy mac and cheese, and a blend of three cheeses.
The Kentucky Fried Chicken Nuggets were a test item last year, but are now a nationwide menu offering.
