KFC Creates ‘Kentucky Fried Chicken Rain’ Sounds To Help You Sleep

In an incredibly unexpected collaboration, KFC has teamed up with Hatch, a sleep wellness company that creates premium sleep audio content, to introduce “Kentucky Fried Chicken Rain.”

I can’t believe we live in a world where we got Kentucky Fried Chicken Rain before GTA 6.

Trending social media posts have claimed that the sound of frying chicken (which we all know is a heavenly symphony) is almost identical to the soothing sound of rain. Hatch took notice and visited KFC’s headquarters to capture the audio of fried chicken.

“At Hatch, we take pride in producing the most effective audio for sleep. When we kept seeing social media posts about the similarity between frying chicken and rain, we decided to make the absolute best version of that audio,” Eric Pallotta, the CMO at Hatch, said. “And who better than the OG fried chicken experts themselves, KFC, to do it with.”

The custom sound is now available on Restore 2 smart sleep devices for those with a Hatch+ premium content subscription. Users can also access the “Kentucky Fried Chicken Rain” sound on the Hatch for Sleep and KFC YouTube channels, as well as on the Hatch for Sleep Spotify page.

Fried chicken has always delivered the itis, but now it seems the itis has leveled up. You can now drift off to sleep with the sound of frying chicken without even having to take a bite! Honestly, we might need to start worrying about Skynet—when the itis can put you to sleep, that’s when you know things are getting real. Isn’t it always the ones closest to you that keep you up at night?

If you’re feeling some serious FOMO about Fried Chicken Rain, now might be the time to join the KFC Rewards Loyalty program, since members can get a discount on a Hatch Restore 2.
