Its chic packaging, clever tagline and slick new music video tell us KFC is all in on their new cosmetic line. Check out the video below.

KFC Hong Kong collaborated with communications company Ogilvy & Mather, and spice maker McCormick, the maker of KFC’s 11 secret herbs and spices recipe, to debut two new flavors of edible nail polish. Both Original Recipe and Hot & Spicy, actually taste like KFC chicken.

KFC HK has been hinting toward the launch of something “revolutionary” on social media and on April 26, the brand debuted their attempt to revolutionize  cosmetics industry via its Facebook page cover photo.

While it’s unclear how the public will react to KFC’s new creation, Adweek reported that John Koay, Ogilvy creative director, was excited to announced the debut of this one-of-a-kind product.

“The recipe for our edible nail polish is unique and was specifically designed to hold the flavor, but to also dry with a glossy coat similar to normal nail polish,” Koay told Adweek. “This campaign is designed to be intriguing and fun to increase excitement around the KFC brand in Hong Kong.”
