Kettle Brand Chips: 40% Less Fat 40% Less Fun?

Back when Light Mayo came around, the world was up in arms. But then everyone realized it tasted pretty much the same, and we didn’t breath as hard going up a flight of stairs. Now Kettle Brand Sea Salt Potato Chips is putting out a 40% reduced fat product.

While it probably won’t taste the same as a bag with the full fat content, it’s pretty sure to taste just as close. There is, however, a 45-milligram increase in the sodium content as a trade off to the fat reduction. So I guess slimming down means raising blood pressure. A small sacrifice, but I guess a fair one in the name of health.

It’s worth trying at least one bag, don’t you think?
