Jimmy Dean Introduces Meat Lovers Breakfast Bowl

Jimmy Dean announced a new addition to their Breakfast Bowl line-up — The Meat Lovers Breakfast Bowl. The bowl includes Jimmy Dean breakfast sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs, potatoes and cheddar cheese. The new offering can now be found in the frozen breakfast section at grocery stores across the country and should cost around three bucks.

We took a FOODBEAST office poll about how many types of meat should be in anything labeled “Meat Lovers.” The clear answer was a minimum of 3 — which this bowl fails to meet. Adding ham to the equation would of been the perfect balance of breakfast meats plus the product would live up to the meat lovers hype. We don’t call a pepperoni and sausage pizza “meat lovers” for a specific reason: not enough meat.
