JambaGo: Self-Service Jamba Juice Is On the Way

Jamba Juice is now heading into the self-service industry as a means to grow into a global brand by reaching untapped markets with JambaGo. According to James White, Chief Executive of Jamba Inc., the main potential venues will be elementary and secondary schools who are looking for new ways to incorporate more healthful items to the lunchroom. A JambaGo “Wellness Station” will dispense several pre-blended smoothies in a space that’s roughly the size of a soda fountain.

Newly designed smoothies that are lower in calories and sugar to meet mandated school nutritional standards will also be available. There’s no word yet where the first JambaGo station is going to launch, but I wish one of these was available when I was in school!  Kids have it too good these days…
