A Jack In The Box Value Menu Is Launching Nationwide In 2018

Based off of this past week alone, it’s clear that the fast food price wars are going to ramp up big time in 2018. McDonald’s and Taco Bell announced additions and upgrades to their bargain options this week, and they’re not alone. Turns out that a Jack In The Box value menu will also be sweeping the nation early next year.

According to an official press release, the cheap lineup of offerings, called “Value Done Jack’s Way,” is a tiered system similar to McDonald’s, but doesn’t seem to have nearly as many options and covers a wider spread of price. So far, we know that the following items will be available on the value menu:

$1 – 4 Chicken Nuggets

$2 – A Breakfast Pocket (an item Jack launched earlier this year, consisting of sausage or ham, egg, and cheese wrapped up in a tortilla)

$3 – 3 Tacos and a small drink

$4-$5 – Bonus Jack Combo (Price will vary by location for this meal featuring Jack’s answer to the Big Mac)

Unlike their competitors, Jack’s cheap collection appears to be a limited-time offer, according to  the release. Chief marketing officer Iwona Alter calls the Jack in the Box value menu their way to “contend with national players in the space,” but it’s unclear as to how “Value Done Jack’s Way” will stack up against McDonald’s and Taco Bell if it’s only around for a short time.

Regardless, the new bargain eats will be available starting in January of 2018, so you’ll have yet another inexpensive fast food option to ring the new year in with.
