It’s not just sunshine and palm trees pulling up to the Jack In The Box headquarters in San Diego, California, as innovation was at the forefront of this visit. There I tried a lineup of new and returning menu items for 2024 that are sure to have fans eager to hit up their local Jack. Here’s the rundown:
Jack’s Garlic Parmesan Wings
PRICE: $8.99 for the 6pc and $15.99 for the 12 pc. Pricing will vary by location.
AVAILABLE: June – July 2024
DESCRIPTION: Garlic and butter herb sauce permeate the light crisp of these chicken wings, providing a burst of flavor that compliments the grated Parmesan cheese sprinkled on top.
Jack’s Buffalo Wings
PRICE: $8.99 for the 6pc and $15.99 for the 12 pc. Pricing will vary by location.
AVAILABLE: June – July 2024
DESCRIPTION: Though these Buffalo wings aren’t sauced all over, I appreciate the fact that it allows for the chicken wing’s crispy breading to keep its crunch. A perfect candidate to dunk into Jack’s iconic Buttermilk Ranch.
Pineapple Express Shake
PRICE: On 4/20, the shake will be offered for $4.20 for a limited time.
AVAILABLE: April – May 2024
DESCRIPTION: This fan-favorite returns as a 4/20 special, boasting punchy pineapple flavors topped with a vibrant whipped cream and cherry.
Spicy Crispy Jack Wrap
PRICE: $3.29. Pricing will vary by location.
AVAILABLE: New permanent item.
DESCRIPTION: This classic in the making is a chicken strip, shredded lettuce, shredded cheddar, jalapenos, Spicy Good Good sauce, and buttermilk ranch wrapped up in a warm tortilla. Jack giving the people what they want with this one, because McDonald’s is for sure not trying to hear them.
Birria Grilled Cheese
PRICE: $5 for a single or $9 for a double. Pricing will vary by location.
AVAILABLE: January – February 2024. Testing at select Texas locations in McAllen, Brownsville, and Laredo.
DESCRIPTION: Jack’s iconic Sourdough gets flipped with the undeniable flavors of birria. Hoping this test item does well so it goes nationwide.
Chicken Tater Melt
PRICE: Will vary by location.
AVAILABLE: June – July 2024
DESCRIPTION: This hefty breakfast sandwich — and one of my favorite Jack items — is making a summer comeback and features a fried chicken patty, hash browns and bacon, which is then topped with ranch sauce and three different cheeses on a buttery croissant. Good morning, indeed.
Churro Creamaccino
PRICE: Starting at $4.49. Pricing will vary by location.
AVAILABLE: Coming in 2025
DESCRIPTION: This iced out treat was one of my favorites of the day. It’s a blended iced coffee with churro flavoring mixed all up with coffee flavors and topped with a dulce de leche-filled churro.
