Jack In The Box Gets Boozy With A New Brewhouse Burger

Jack in the Box announced their newest burger. Rather than the usual press release you see so many of in this industry, they had us try something new.

I walked into a white room, in the heart of Los Angeles, with a single table and three virtual reality goggles sitting on the table.

As I put the goggles on, I was taken to the center of a brewhouse where patrons were all drinking and chatting it up. I was seated at the center of the bar. As the bartender places a drink if front of me, he walks off to chat with the other customers.

There were girls to my left and dudes to my right. All around me, people were drinking and having a good time. All of a sudden, the titular hero of the fast food chain walks up to me from behind the bar. It was Jack himself.

He sets down a burger I had never seen before: the Brewhouse Bacon Burger.

I removed the goggles and saw that same burger sitting in front of me on the table.

The burger featured a beef patty topped with grilled onions, lettuce, tomatoes,, bacon and a Porter Ale cheese sauce. It’s served on a sesame and poppyseed-topped artisan potato bun.

Not bad.

Jack’s Brewhouse Burger will be available nationwide on Monday, July 18. It’ll only be available for a limited time.
