It’s a Candy Bar…Made of Candy Bars
Halloween is over, and according to a number of sources, the question you should be asking yourself now is “What should I do with my leftover Halloween candy?” Or more accurately for me, “What should I do with the mass amounts of discounted Halloween candy I purchased on November 1?” The answer lies in this meta-candy bar.
The ingredients and directions for this layered bar are quite simple, yet they result in one ridiculously amazing dessert. It’s just a layering of Kit Kats, Snickers, and Reese’s Cups. Yes, three of your favorite candies melted together to form one giant mass of all of your childhood dreams coming true.
Ingredients
– 1 BIG BAG Snack Sized Kit Kats
– 1 BIG BAG Fun Sized Snickers
– 1 BIG BAG Reese’s Cups
Directions
1. Line a 9×13 pan with non-stick foil.
2. Pulverize Kit Kats in food processor, then melt in the microwave and spread into bottom of the pan.
3. Put pan in freezer to harden the Kit Kats.
4. Melt Snickers in the microwave and spread over hardened Kit Kat layer.
5. Stick the pan back in the freezer to harden the Snickers.
6. Melt Reese’s Cups in microwave (you’ll have to work at the PB a bit after things have gotten melty to make sure there are no clumps in the chocolate) and spread on top of Snickers layer.
7. Put it back in the freezer to harden, then slice it up, baby!
As you sink your teeth in, each individual flavor and texture melds together to create a meta-candy bar of awesomeness that is almost beyond comprehension.
