Inside Look: Travis Scott X Reese’s Puffs Popup in Paris

In one of the most unlikely collaborations, rapper Travis Scott and Reese’s Puffs cereal created a lot of hype this week, dropping an exclusive cereal box, bowl and spoon that all sold out in 30 seconds this past Tuesday.
While the items were sold online, Travis also officially debuted the General Mills cereal with a pop-up in Paris during Fashion Week.
With shelves full of cereal boxes, the pop-up also had Travis Scott X Reese’s Puffs merch on deck and cereal-inspired art installations.
As you would imagine, the cereal boxes are already making rounds on eBay and other after market sale apps for as low as $32. Yet with an average asking price of $120 in the after market, it’s right up there as hypebeast collector status. Some are even putting together bundles that include the cereal, bowl and spoon, and in some instances Travis Scott streetwear items.
This isn’t Reese’s first hip hop Rodeo, however, as you probably remember past commercials with the “Reese’s Puffs Rap,” or the “Perfect Combo” rap commercial.
Hopefully all this means is that we’ll see a remake of these Reese’s Puffs commercials with Scott’s classic ambient, auto-tuned crooning.
