In-N-Out Burger: Lakewood
We haven’t been to In-In-Out since our fun 16×16 challenge with our man Chris Do. During our day in Lakewood, CA, we noticed an extravagant parade of cars pouring out into the street on our way to the 91 freeway. Following the parade, we noticed that it wasn’t a procession, but in fact the drive-thru line for an In-N-Out burger. It’s truly amazing why such a crowd doesn’t turn people off…march on with us!
Look at this Hypebeast kid we found. Oh…actually it’s the new Foodbeastee Taylor. Dressed to impress as usual.
Magic in simplicity.
I’ve said it before, I don’t want to sound like a broken record…but on Foodbeast we try and be a little neutral, little negative opinion on anything…we’re not here to review anything in our product news, features, etc…there are other blogs and Yelp for that. But this isn’t news, this is an adventure…now that that garbage is out of the way, let me introduce the pissed off dude in the above picture. Everyone serving us inside was super cordial, smiles, laughter (lovin’ Taylor’s shirt), smilin’ for the camera as we took pictures of the line, the window and the surrounding area. Unfortunately, we got told to stop taking pictures by this tightwad who seemed to jump out from the under the counter somewhere…obviously he thought he was working the floor at a Washington Mutual or something, not a fast food chain. I hope to God he works corporate In-N-Out, only serving burgers for the day and checking on progress at this branch…because he handled the situation with an elegance rivaled only by an angry chimpanzee after you steal his banana and take his picture.
I like to keep things simple. Order a couple of these, and whoooweee.
Taylor does it pretty correct with a double double, plus an extra patty. As you can see, the camera can’t even focus on such a thing.
Be thankful. People in other countries don’t have the luxury to eat burgers, fries and fountain drinks. To find an In-N-Out burger nearest you, check out their website.
