HootSuite Creators and Food Network Canada Develop Food Truck App

For those of you who tune in on the daily to get your fix of Food Truck news, this app might be right up your alley! InvokeMedia, the folks behind the Social Media Dashboard App HootSuite have come together with Food Network Canada to produce a rather all-inclusive Food Truck phone application. The free app launches today in conjunction with the debut of an Eat St. series debut on April 6 and on the Cooking Channel in the U.S. on April 12.

From the looks of it, the Eat St. mobile app functions at a higher level than just a TV show tie-in. The app’s functionality is wholly useful as a stand alone resource, allowing you to touch base with a food truck of your choice, get pricing information, current locations and general updates from the respective trucks.
