Hooters Catches An L For Trying To Pick A Fight With Wingstop On Twitter

Yesterday, Wingstop announced a new iteration called Thighstop, which as the name suggests, serves only chicken thighs. The news was met with much excitement and hype, with fried chicken fanatics all lauding the new option of having Wingstop flavors on larger, more juicy pieces of the bird.

But as the age old tale goes, the haters lurk along the trail of success. Exhibit A: Hooters hating from outside the club and trying to start something with Wingstop on Twitter.

Replying to a Wingstop tweet that promoted the new Thighstop, Hooters takes a sip of the Haterade, cracks its knuckles and replies, “Easy to give up on wings when yours aren’t that great.” Yikes.

But the ensuing replies to Hooters in the Twitter thread really placed a fat L and ratio on its lap. Check out some of the responses below.
