Hooters Adds Pork Wings For Football Season

Now that football season has arrived, mounds and mounds of wings are being consumed at bars and restaurants across the country. Seriously, there’s probably a mass graveyard of chicken bones somewhere out there.

Hooters has announced an innovative new take on the football snack that will (hopefully) cut chickens a break with their latest Pork Wings.

The wings are made with tender pork that’s tossed in Hooters’ sweet and spicy homestyle BBQ sauce. The pieces of barbecued white meat are served on the bone with a side of curly fries and dipping sauce.

We have to admit that the wings look pretty delicious, though it’ll be tough to pass up on the traditional chicken when enjoying a couple beers and watching the game. Looking at it now, the pork dish kind of reminds us of riblets.

The Pork Wings are available at participating Hooters restaurants through October 30. Prices for the wings will vary, depending on the location. We’ll probably try a couple while we wait for our chicken wings to arrive.
