Homegrown Waffle Ice Cream & Sour Drank

Every Saturday I become susceptible to going into the kitchen laboratory and not leaving until something edible is produced. Usually it’s Reggie bringing the heat to the table, but today, I decided I would get my 30 Minute Meal on and show you some decently healthy food gibberish. Got waffle ice cream and my fizzy lemonade! Check it out:

Flash much? Anyways, I found some healthier style whole grain waffles to use as my base.

I threw a patty into the toaster oven while my ice cream melted a bit.

Deep in the fridge I found myself some light rocky road ice cream.

Grab some banana.

Once the waffle is crispy, plop it on a plate.

Chop up the banana and put a nice thick scoop of ice cream on the waffle.

DEEP in the fridge I found some more goodness, in the form of Cool Whip Lite.

Now we are done with the main course! Let’s move on to the complementary drink!

First, grab any kind of light/citrus-flavored carbonated beverage you can find. Sunkist works great, 7-Up, Sprite, all fine beverages. I happened to find a cute Diet 7-Up.

Natural lemonade.

Grab a fresh lemon.

Get your Emeril Lagasse on.

I like to take that skinned slice of lemon and throw it on top of some ice.

Once the lemon is down on the ice, pour some soda…lemonada…soda…lemonade…until your cup almost reaches capacity. Squeeze the rest of your remaining lemon juice on top and stir.

Get your eat/drink/summer on!
