Heatswell: Expanding 3D Coffee Cup Sleeve

Proposed by Scott Amron, we’re looking at a super thin, non-toxic, recyclable and biodegradable coffee cup sleeve that expands when you add hot liquid to the innards of the cup. The sleeve is super thin, so it’s completely stackable which would end up saving space and increasing efficiency when it comes to packaging and shipping to the end consumer. Not sure the variability of the swelling of the paper collar, but it seems to be able to swell up to about 1 inch, taking the form of random shapes, logos (notice the Starbucks silhouette above). Video after the jump of course! (Thx Core77)
