The hard beverage space is booming, with seltzers spearheading the surge. Yet with every new item popping up, each seems to carry much excitement and buzz with it. Standing out in the now-crowded house of hard beverages is a must. A MTN DEW alcoholic beverage? Yeah that should do it.

This is all made possible through a partnership announced today between The Boston Beer Company and PepsiCo. The collaboration between the two will produce HARD MTN DEW alcoholic drinks that will come in what appears to be Original, Black Cherry, and Watermelon. Packaging shows the drinks to be Zero Sugar, and confirmed ABV is 5% per can.

MTN DEW has always been a brand that embraces the weird and wild, so fans should expect this new boozy product to continue that energy. As for availability, consumers should anticipate to find HARD MTN DEW cans on retail shelves in early 2022.
