A Smash Patty And Patty Melt Combine For This One Crave-Worthy Burger

Texture and crunch fiends, this burger is tailor made for your cravings. Introducing The Flatty Melt, an undeniable fusion of a good ‘ol patty melt and a perfect smash patty burger, made by the geniuses over at Hammer Burger, in Orange County, California.

The serious smash patty action starts with Hammer Burger’s standard smash patty: wispy and crisp lattice edges on the meat, melty cheese, pickles, onions and house special mustard sauce. How it transforms into the crave-worthy Flatty, though, lies in a simple twist of fate, as the potato burger buns are toasted then flipped over on top of the standard burger, creating that patty melt vibe.

Fellow Foodbeast, Marc Kharrat, was able to try this astounding mashup of smash, to which he rated it with a super solid ten outta ten. Why argue with a Foodbeast with that much conviction and special burger sauce on his face?
