Hairy Ice Cream Exists And The Details Are Fuzzy
One of the last things most peopleย want to find in their food is hair. But what if your food had its own hair?
Two ice cream creations appear to be just that. Made by Remicone, these desserts, named the Thunder Mon and the Salon Bomb, pile cotton candy on top of ice cream to give ice cream “hair.”
The South Korean ice cream shop known for strange creations has been hinting at these two new creations, posting social media posts with the creations marked coming soon.
The creations seem to play off of one of their more popular creations, the Thunderbomb, which has mint gray cotton candy piled high over vanilla ice cream decorated with a small thunderbolt. Apparently the cotton candy has pop rocks inside to give it a “thunder” crackle as you enjoy the treat.
The Salon Bomb and the Thundermon seem to be two different builds off the original, with the Thunder Mon adding eyes, making it more child friendly, and the Salon Bomb really playing off the idea of the cotton candy’s hair look.

It’s unclear when exactly these creations will be available or for how long. Different versions of the hairy creations have popped up on social media, but Remicone has a rotating menu and is constantly changing dessert offerings.
