Godzilla Sushi Roll

Yes, that is a 6 lb. sushi roll. Oh, I thought you asked? Sushi Delight, a sushi house out of Lomita, CA, offers up a…dare I say it….godzilla-sized portion of sushi accurately named The Godzilla Roll. The roll consists of 6 pounds of seafood and is topped with a special blend of house sauce.

Of course, what’s a food item this big good for, if not for an equally big challenge for the restaurant’s customer?  That’s exactly what Sushi Delight has set up, and it is called the Godzilla Roll Challenge. The challenge lures the customer into attempting to eat the $34.95 sushi roll in under 60 minutes. The prize? Immortality on the restaurant’s Wall of Fame, a free T-Shirt, and The Roll is on the house! If you fail? Immortality on the Wall of Shame, a styrofoam box for you to take the sushi (and your pride) home in, along with the bill as-is. Can you tame the beast?
